Habyt launches new flexible living space in Tanjong Pagar

A public tender to lease the real estate, now taken care of by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), was introduced in September 2023. The tender was evaluated based on the bid price and the quality of the proposed idea, and SLA urged bidders to consider creative way of living ideas.

Kada at Maxwell are going to provide a series of spaces, including en suite studios and 2- to three-bedroom units. Each unit has a completely equipped kitchen space. Guests can book spaces on a nightly or every week basis, with a 12-month option additionally offered.

Habyt has recently released a brand-new accomodation area at 5 Kadayanallur Street in Tanjong Pagar. The 18-room Kada at Maxwell is the flagship space for the operator’s Habyt Flex concept, which offers a strategic expanding of the firm’s product offerings past extensive co-living.

The site was awarded to Bethesda Medical, which submitted a per month rental proposal of $103,000, the third-highest bid price after Wan Dormitory ($160,000) and The Working Capitol ($108,240).

The versatile space lies throughout a maintained 1920s colonial building. The three-storey structure, created by the architectural company Swan & Maclaren, was one of the very first modernist structures in Singapore. It was constructed to house the St Andrew’s Mission Hospital for Women and Children.

Locals of Kada at Maxwell will enjoy infinite and free access to the property’s health and wellness amenities, including the performance gym, cold plunge, infrared saunas, jacuzzis and foot baths.

SLA pointed out Bethesda’s strong focus on community building and connecting people with businesses as what gave its concept the succeeding edge. The first level is going to feature 10 F&B offerings, while the 2nd floor will certainly house a gym by Limitless, a wellness center in partnership with Shiruki Studio, and a co-working area. Habyt’s Kada at Maxwell gets on the 3rd level.

In August, Habyt Asia Pacific CEO Jonathan Wong signalled that the company was trying to add even more short-term living choices to its local lineup. The first real estates within the Habyt Flex concept are the 39-room Habyt Novena and the 27-room Habyt Kallang, both started in August. Other properties under the Habyt Flex concept involve Habyt Cantonment and Owen Residence by Habyt.
