The 10 towers are adjoined by a pedestrian path and closed courtyards, allowing natural sunlight and fresh air to stream thru. The property development features services like a 1,000-seater multipurpose area, a junior ballroom, roof patios, a team lounge, table tennis, and an upcoming fitness center center.
Surbana Jurong unveiled its new global central office, the Surbana Jurong Campus, in CleanTech Park inside the Jurong Innovation District. The establishment was formally opened on March 13, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong in appearance.
The development has been awarded the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Eco-friendly Mark Platinum Super Low Power and BCA-Health Promotion Board Green Mark Platinum for Healthier Workplaces for its campaigns in sustainability and marketing much healthier way of livings. This consists of providing end-of-trip centers, such as onsite bike racks and showers.
The campus was designed by Surbana Jurong’s architects in cooperation with Safdie Architects to reflect the concept of a “campus in nature.” Formerly an underdeveloped greenfield area, the campus has been made to preserve over half of its standing green space. Built-up environment-friendly locations were changed with roof yards, lush indoor yards, and substantial outside landscape design.
